Maine Suppression: Second Edition

This is a practical guide for defense attorneys to access current case law for Maine and from the United States Supreme Court as a survey of current jurisprudence. It also includes cases from other jurisdictions that have chosen to do better than Maine - either in interpreting current Supreme Court cases or in states that have given additional protections under their own constitution. The intent is to make state constitutional arguments easier to make and fast-pace legal research. This second edition includes new sections, more case law from Maine and elsewhere, an improved index and table of contents, and an appendix of state constitutional provisions on searches and seizures to show how many other states have deviated from the Fourth Amendment.
