With sequential reads of over 3500 MB/s and sequential writes of over 1700 MB/s, as well as the option to boost I/O speeds through SSD caching, the RS2423+ provides flexible storage with strong built-in data protection capabilities. </p><p>The RS2423+ is equipped with a 3.35 GHz AMD Ryzen V1780B Quad-Core processor and 8GB of DDR4 ECC memory that can be expanded up to 32GB. This NAS is equipped with 12 drive bays that natively support 3.5" SATA hard drives, as well as 2.5" SATA hard drives and SSDs for data storage. </p><p>The RS2423+ runs on the DiskStation Manager (DSM) OS, which is a browser-based operating system that helps to simplify managing your NAS. Also featured are two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports for peripherals and accessories, plus a mini-SAS HD expansion port for an RX1223RP expansion unit.
